HANDS-ON MINISTRY TRAINING
At Iowa Leadership College, you’ll receive hands-on ministry experience and quality education that equips you to pursue Assemblies of God credentials or a Bachelor’s degree through Southeastern University—preparing you to lead with purpose and impact.
ILC students develop in leadership and ministry through a progressive, year-by-year structure
YEAR ONE | Throughout the year, you will be placed in 4 different intern areas rotating every 8 weeks.
YEAR TWO | You will pick two ministry areas to focus on throughout this year
YEAR THREE | In this year you will focus on one area of ministry of their choice.
YEAR FOUR |You will focus on one area of ministry of their choice. In addition, you are eligible to apply to be an apprentice in any qualifying ministry area.

STUDENT EXPERIENCE

Beyond education and ministry training, ILC is dedicated to your relational and spiritual growth. Students participate in monthly chapel services, life groups, student activities, and leadership labs led by Radiant Church pastors. These experiences provide meaningful connections and mentorship opportunities that will shape your life and leadership for years to come.

Radiant Church is committed to invest in the next generation of church leaders. Now we are taking the next step of blending the mentoring we’ve always provided with a credible academic program so that students can learn both experientially and in the classroom as they prepare for their future career. The Iowa Leadership College is a more significant step forward and our educational partner, Southeastern University will help provide a college education. Meanwhile, each student’s personal, spiritual and career formation will advance under the care of qualified spiritual leaders who see their role, as Ephesians 4:12 declares, “to equip God’s people to do his work..”. For ten years I served as a college professor and have journeyed with hundreds of students as they learned to follow God’s call on their life.
