Celebrating such an accomplishment is something no young person should have to do alone. Join us in helping these graduates celebrate this great achievement in their lives!
Did you know there are approximately 700 children in foster care in Linn County, Iowa? And did you know that only about 50% of youth in foster care graduate from high school? This Open House Celebration is a meaningful way for our community to honor these students and celebrate their incredible accomplishment. Everyone in the community is invited to attend and help recognize the perseverance, hard work, and determination of these graduates.

We recommend graduation cards and gift cards to places like Target, Amazon, local restaurants, or movie theaters to help support their next chapter.
Celebration Guides
Pair with a student to help them prepare! You’ll help them with invitations, find out about things they love, and help them decorate their table with photos for the big day.
